Alan Shearer/Rob Lee Sportsman's Dinner

I was lucky enough to be given one of the £90+ VIP tickets for The Grassroots Sports Charity Sportsman's Dinner, at the Federation Brewery Lancastrian Suite, arranged by my old mate, and one of my former Doorstaff from Mood Bar, Graeme Forster.

The VIP Tickets included a pre-event bar, and photo session with Rob Lee and Alan Shearer, the main guests.

I therefore took the opportunity of getting two photos I had with each of them, from back in 2002 at the Chester-le-Street Training Ground, finally signed.

Ovingham, then Robinwood Camp

Carl spent a few days away with the school, at Robinwood Camp and Outdoor Activity Centre, near Alston. So with nothing better to do, the rest of us thought we'd have a drive out, to see where it was.

Connor's First Carwash

I finally talked Connor into letting me take him through a Carwash in the car today, as previously, he has been too nervous, and waited outside with Mum if he was with us when we went.

Despite him looking a bit wary in the photo, in reality he was no trouble at all, and that's one less problem to contend with in future.

Kieran's Redheugh League Cup Final Win

Kieran's Team, Gateshead Redheugh Community Club, managed to win through to the Final of the Apollo Doors, Under 13 League Cup. The Final was held at Prudhoe Town Football Club.

Redheugh took on Cleveland Hall, and came out eventual 3-1 winners.

Connor's School Dance Festival

It was Connor's School Dance Festival today, and he was very good.
Alas, in not wanting to post other children's faces too clear on here, this is the only photo I can really post - guess who that is posing towards the camera though!
