In the News and On the News...

Well it was inevitable it would happen, when Keegan arrived....

In doing Security for said arrival Thursday and Friday at the Club and the Training Ground, I apparently ended up on the news as King Kev walked up through the stands for the Photo Shoot with the Newcastle United sign behind him over across in the east stand.

Thankfully that one was wearing a Club Official's Grey Blazer.

Alas, the photo that made the inside back cover of today's Sun Newspaper, as well as the club website, was not so cool, with me in a Yellow Security Jacket instead.

Insider anecdotal tale for you however... When King Kev came out to briefly address the fans on the steps of the old Milburn Reception on Friday afternoon however, his first quote was class... "You're gonna ask me why I sold Andy Cole, aren't you?"

Quality. And the crowd loved it.

Here's Kev just after delivering said quote,. and a certain me, looking naff in a yellow security jacket, at the foot of the stairs in case Kev elected to sign autographs.
